Delhi Police Special Cell has detained two juveniles in connection with the shooting incident at actress Disha Patani's residence that occurred on September 11. The arrests were made in Delhi, as confirmed by the police on Friday. This follows a troubling period for the celebrity, marked by multiple shooting incidents.
The minors were involved in firing at Patani's Bareilly home on September 11, with a subsequent shooting occurring the next day. In response, a collaborative police operation involving teams from Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, and Haryana subsequently neutralized two shooters in an encounter.
Amitabh Yash, Additional Director General of Law and Order in Uttar Pradesh, emphasized that the incident posed a serious challenge to their zero-tolerance stance on crime. SSP Bareilly Anurag Arya assured Disha Patani's family of their safety, mobilizing five teams to investigate. Patani's father praised CM Adityanath and the security forces for their swift action.
