In response to the increased travel demand generated by the Diwali and Chhath festivals, the Bhopal Division of West Central Railway has initiated special trains departing from Rani Kamlapati Railway Station. Managing the heightened passenger flow, two trains are set for Danapur, operating on Tuesdays and Saturdays, while a third heads to Agartala every Thursday.

Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) Pankaj Tyagi announced the measures, emphasizing the strategic planning in place for both festivals to alleviate congestion. He noted that additional coaches were added to accommodate Diwali travelers, and special trains for Chhath will further mitigate overcrowding. These efforts, coupled with comprehensive crowd management plans, aim to ensure safe, efficient travel.

DRM Tyagi also highlighted innovations in ticketing solutions to minimize passenger strife, mentioning the deployment of hand-held ticketing devices and Automatic Ticket Vending Machines (ATVMs) across stations. Enhanced security measures have been implemented, with separate lines for different passenger classes and Railway Protection Force personnel managing queues effectively.
