The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology forecasts heavy snowfall from October 27-29, affecting provinces such as Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim. Several districts, including Gorkha and Manang, face risks of flooding and precipitation-related hazards.
Authorities in regions like Annapurna have temporarily closed trails, urging visitors to keep in touch with guides and consider postponing travel plans for safety. The advisory emphasizes following official updates and preparing for weather emergencies.
