A fake news reporter carrying forged national media logos was apprehended at an event featuring Telangana Governor Vishnu Dev Varma at the Avasa Hotel in Hyderabad. Law enforcement has detained the individual and begun an investigation into the incident.

Police responded following a tip-off from national media representatives, detaining two suspects and seizing multiple media logos. Authorities are probing deeper into the case, though further details remain pending.

Meanwhile, the Hyderabad Narcotic Enforcement Wing (H-NEW) deported Nigerian national Johnkennedy Chukwuemeka Okoro back to Nigeria. Okoro, who overstayed his business visa and engaged in drug trafficking, was sent home in coordination with the FRRO after his expired documents were revealed through inquiry.
