In a significant move to ensure seamless conduct of the upcoming MCD Bye-Elections, the State Election Commission of Delhi has rolled out extensive transport arrangements and technological innovations. The measures are aimed at facilitating smooth movement of polling staff and voters, while enhancing the transparency and efficiency of the electoral process.

The Election Commission, in collaboration with Delhi's transport department, will provide special DTC bus services and early Delhi Metro operations on both polling and counting days. These enhanced services are designed to ensure timely commuting across 35 designated routes, thus promoting accessibility and convenience.

On the technology front, innovative digital tools, notably the "Nigam Chunav Delhi" app, have been deployed. The app offers voters real-time updates on queue status, electoral roll searches, and even service requests for senior citizens. These efforts underscore Delhi's commitment to free, fair, and citizen-friendly elections.
