Delhi University and HSE University Forge Partnership to Launch Space Mirror Lab
The University of Delhi and Russia's HSE University have signed an agreement to create a Space Mirror Lab, aimed at joint research in space data technology. In a significant move towards international academic collaboration, the University of Delhi has partnered with Russia's National Research University Higher School of Economics (HSE University) to establish a Space Mirror Lab at Delhi University's Faculty of Technology. The agreement was officially signed on Friday.
The initiative aims to foster collaboration between the institutions in the realms of data storage, processing, and transmission within the space spectrum. Vice-Chancellor Professor Yogesh Singh described the project as a visionary and ambitious plan that is set to benefit both countries academically through joint research and educational endeavors.
The agreement was formalized by Nikita Anisimov, Rector of HSE University, and Vikas Gupta, Registrar of the University of Delhi, with numerous dignitaries from both universities witnessing the event. This partnership aims to enhance academic collaboration and provide substantial advantages to students and faculty at both institutions.
