The biography of Gujarat's first female Chief Minister and current Uttar Pradesh Governor, Anandi Ben Patel, has been translated into Gujarati as 'Chunautiyan Mujhe Pasand Hain' and was officially launched in Ahmedabad. The ceremony was graced by Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah, Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, and Bhagwat Katha exponent Rameshbhai Oza.
In his address, Amit Shah extolled Anandi Ben Patel's life as a testament to perseverance and dedication. He emphasized that she has always prioritized purpose over position. At the age of 85, she still serves as Uttar Pradesh's Governor with notable vigor. Her career spans roles from educator to Governor, marked by grassroots organizational contributions and worker empowerment.
Shah highlighted her reforms in Uttar Pradesh's education sector, leading to significant progress in UGC registrations. Gujarat's CM Bhupendra Patel reflected on her integrity and leadership, citing her tenure as a milestone. The biography aims to inspire future generations and proceeds will fund girls' education. Rameshbhai Oza lauded her as a beacon of resilience and empowerment.
