Air India has implemented comprehensive measures to tackle fog-related disruptions in northern India, particularly in its primary hub, Delhi. Initiatives include advanced crew training, CAT III B aircraft deployment, proactive passenger communication, and real-time flight adjustments. The arrangements aim to ensure minimal inconvenience during the official fog window from December 10, 2025, to February 10, 2026.

Air India has introduced a suite of strategic measures, collaborating with multiple stakeholders, to counteract the seasonal fog challenges impacting northern India, notably in Delhi. The airline's approach includes CAT III B crew scheduling, equipping aircraft for fog readiness, and ensuring overall airport preparedness across its network.

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has announced the official fog window from December 10, 2025, through February 10, 2026, spurring Air India to enhance its operations. Building on past successes and learnings, the airline has implemented strong standard operating procedures to handle potential disruptions during this period.

Key to these preparations is the deployment of CAT III B-certified aircraft and adequately trained cockpit crews in Low Visibility Operations. Ground support teams and resource kits are ready at airports, ensuring swift assistance and monitoring delays to offer flight alternatives to affected passengers. Communication through digital channels is also prioritized to keep passengers informed about changes and travel options.
