Moldova's economy experienced a notable increase as its gross domestic product grew by 5.2% in the third quarter of 2025, according to data released by the national statistics bureau on Tuesday.

This uplift in the quarter was primarily driven by expansions in agriculture, construction, and manufacturing sectors, showcasing a diversified growth pattern.

However, from January to September, the GDP only saw a rise of 2% year-on-year. Consequently, the ministry of economic development has recalibrated 2025's growth forecast to 1.3%, down from an initial projection of 2%.
