Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan is set to present the Viksit Bharat - Guarantee for Rozgar and Ajeevika Mission (Gramin) Bill, 2025, to the Lok Sabha during the prevailing winter session of Parliament. The bill promises to transform rural development, aligning with the Viksit Bharat @2047 initiative by ensuring 125 days of wage employment annually for willing rural households.
As the Lok Sabha gears up, the busy legislative and oversight agenda includes two pivotal bills for consideration and passage, alongside routine business such as laying of papers and ministerial statements. The House convenes at 11 am starting with Question Hour, led by ministers across diverse sectors including Science and Technology, Parliamentary Affairs, and Consumer Affairs.
Among the key legislative considerations, the Sustainable Harnessing and Advancement of Nuclear Energy for Transforming India Bill, led by Dr. Jitendra Singh, will address the utilization of nuclear energy across multiple industries. These proceedings signify a robust push towards enhanced legislative productivity, particularly in rural employment and development through statutory guarantees and nuclear advancements.
