In a grave incident near Srivaikundam, Tamil Nadu, police have arrested three individuals, including two minors, after a woman was allegedly gang-raped in front of her husband. The assault took place after the couple was intercepted while traveling to seek better employment opportunities in Kerala.
The woman, aged 24, and her husband, both from Assam, had quit their jobs at a local hollow block manufacturing unit due to inadequate conditions. Upon learning of their departure, the contractor employed there reportedly intercepted their auto with two minors, ages 16 and 14, under false allegations of theft.
