High-Profile Mumbai Crash: Akshay Kumar's Escort Involved in Multi-Vehicle Collision

A significant traffic accident near Silver Bridge Cafe in Mumbai involved a vehicle escorting Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar. The collision was triggered by an electric luxury car leading to a pile-up with an auto-rickshaw. Police have arrested the at-fault driver, and investigations are underway.

In a dramatic turn of events on Monday night, a multi-vehicle collision occurred near Gandhigram Road in Mumbai, involving a luxury electric car, an autorickshaw, and a vehicle escorting Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar. The crash site, close to Silver Bridge Cafe, witnessed swift police intervention.

The incident unfolded around 9:15 PM, as traffic congestion was being managed by local authorities. Inspector Shaukat Rajak Inamdar of Juhu Police Station reported that the autorickshaw was struck after an electric car abruptly cut into its path, causing it to crash into Akshay Kumar's escort vehicle.

Efforts from rescue services, including the fire brigade, were necessary to extricate the auto-rickshaw lodged under the escort car. Both the rickshaw driver and passenger were hurriedly transported to the hospital, with the former in serious condition. The driver responsible for the commotion, Radheshyam Rai, has been apprehended under various sections of the Bharatiya Nyay Samhita as police investigations intensify.
