Zypp Electric, a burgeoning electric vehicle rental platform, has announced plans to significantly expand its operations in Hyderabad and Jaipur. The company aims to have a fleet of 15,000 vehicles by the next financial year, with a substantial presence of 10,000 units in Hyderabad alone.
To support this growth, Zypp Electric has unveiled two new hubs, each spanning over 5,000 square feet, to facilitate vehicle maintenance, battery swapping, and partner onboarding. These facilities were launched in response to the rapid adoption of EVs in tier-2 cities, with fleet numbers reaching 1,000 in just a month.
As of late 2025, Zypp Electric operates over 22,000 EVs across India, with more than 1,500 battery swap points. The company's ambitious plan is to expand to 100,000 vehicles in 25 cities by 2030, underscoring the economic viability and environmental necessity of electric last-mile delivery and mobility.
