Mobikwik Achieves Profit Amid Cost Optimization
Fintech company One Mobikwik reported a profit of Rs 4 crore in the December 2025 quarter, turning around from a Rs 55 crore loss the previous year. The success was attributed to reduced payment processing charges, business lending, and cost optimization. Revenue grew by 7%, with GMV and UPI transactions reaching record levels.

Fintech leader One Mobikwik has emerged profitable in the December quarter of 2025, announcing a consolidated profit of Rs 4 crore. This stands in stark contrast to a loss of Rs 55 crore during the same period in 2024, attributed to strategic cost-cutting and improved business operations.
The company's co-founder and CFO, Upasana Taku, expressed satisfaction over the disciplined execution and committed approach to cost optimization that allowed the firm not only to achieve profitability but also maintain growth momentum, underlining a focus on operation efficiency.
Revenue from operations witnessed a 7% increase, reaching Rs 289 crore. Mobikwik also recorded an unprecedented gross merchandise value of Rs 48,100 crore, with UPI transactions increasing 3.2 times compared to the previous year, marking significant achievements in digital payment transactions.
