The United States Ambassador to India, Sergio Gor, on Friday underscored India's determination and the growing collaboration between the two countries. Addressing India's inclusion in the Pax Silica initiative, Gor stated this partnership marks a commitment to victory through shared democratic values. 'By joining hands in this venture, we choose freedom, partnership, and strength,' Gor declared.

Gor praised not only India's vast scale but also its steadfast resolve to pursue an independent path. He highlighted the extensive potential for collaboration, from trade agreements to defense partnerships, asserting his belief in the boundless opportunities ahead. 'The limitless potential between our two nations is evident, and I plan to enhance it throughout my tenure,' he affirmed.

Gor noted the recent interim trade agreement as a pivotal development reshaping the Indo-Pacific economy. The deal transcends traditional trade conventions, symbolizing a united effort by two democracies to build rather than solely trade. 'This step marks a movement towards constructing a shared economic future,' Gor commented.

Emphasizing technological collaboration, Gor highlighted joint efforts in critical areas like artificial intelligence, space, and semiconductors. He reiterated the importance of free nations leading technological advancements, in partnership with the world's largest democracy sharing common values with the US. 'This alliance represents our choice to lead in innovation and technological development,' he remarked.
