Amit Shah Unveils Development Boost: Rs. 1,129.91 Crore Projects in Uttarakhand

Home Minister Amit Shah inaugurated projects worth over Rs. 1,129 crore during a ceremony in Uttarakhand, commemorating four years of the Pushkar Singh Dhami government. Notable initiatives include enhancements in infrastructure and advancements in recruitment practices, supported by increased central funding.

In a significant move to bolster Uttarakhand's development, Union Home Minister Amit Shah inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for projects totaling an impressive Rs. 1,129.91 crore. The events were part of a program celebrating four years of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami's administration in the state.

Providing an overview of financial contributions, Shah revealed a marked increase in central government funds to Uttarakhand post-2014, contrasting previous figures. The state's infrastructure projects, encompassing roads, corridors, and railways, have seen marked improvements, thereby uplifting the Gross State Domestic Product and per capita income levels significantly.

Additionally, changes in recruitment practices were noted, with 1,900 new constables receiving appointment letters under a strict anti-corruption framework. The event also saw the issuance of citizenship certificates to refugees, alongside the launch of the e-Zero FIR system to tackle financial cyber crimes effectively.
