In Noida, participants turned out in large numbers for the 2026 Indian Coast Guard (ICG) 10K Run, commemorating the military branch's 50th Raising Day. The event aimed to inspire fitness and community awareness about the Coast Guard's critical role in maritime safety and protection.
Back in Delhi, the Zydus Pinkathon coincided with International Women's Day, focusing on women's health and fitness. Flagged off by Delhi Minister Ashish Sood, the event saw over 10,000 women join, celebrated as an extension of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Fit India movement.
The annual Fit India Carnival also returned after a successful debut, energizing the capital with a mix of sports, wellness, and community engagement. Orchestrated to encourage lifestyle changes toward fitness, the carnival showcases interactive sessions and workshops to broaden the movement's appeal.
