Minister Devi highlighted the growing leadership of women in India, spotlighting initiatives such as the 'Shakti Walk - She Leads Bharat'. She announced a significant allocation of over Rs 5 lakh crore in the 2026-27 gender budget aimed at women's empowerment and detailed the government's life cycle-based approach to women's development, from birth to education.
Focusing on safety, Devi mentioned Mission Shakti, women's help desks, and fast-track special courts. She advocated for the Women's Reservation Act, boosting women's participation in politics, and noted initiatives like MUDRA and PM SWANidhi supporting women entrepreneurs.
