Middle East Oil Giants Slash Production Amid Economic Uncertainty
Major oil-producing nations, including Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, have significantly cut oil output, resulting in a reduction of several million barrels per day. The cuts come amid uncertain economic conditions, with Kuwait and Iraq also contributing to the production decline.
Major oil producers in the Middle East, including Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, have significantly lowered their oil output, cutting between 2 and 2.5 million barrels per day and 500,000 to 800,000 barrels per day, respectively, as reported by Bloomberg News on Tuesday.
Kuwait has joined the trend by trimming its production by half a million barrels per day, while Iraq has reduced its output by approximately 2.9 million barrels, according to sources familiar with the developments.
Reuters has yet to independently verify these reports, which highlight the combined impact of these reductions as they ripple through the global oil market.
