Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has proposed the establishment of an 'Indian School of Agriculture' to bolster the sector, akin to the renowned Indian School of Business. This announcement came during the sixth District Collectors' Conference, where Naidu discussed governance priorities with district collectors.

Naidu stressed the importance of developing a robust system to promote agricultural innovation and productivity, suggesting institutional support similar to that found in technology sectors. He set governance and welfare delivery targets for collectors, urging for increased awareness of government schemes among the public.

The Chief Minister highlighted significant governance changes introduced over the past 20 months, emphasizing the transition to a virtual working system and stressing grassroots-level implementation of government targets. Welfare programs and transparency, particularly the 'Super Six' schemes and electricity charges, were key discussion points at the conference.
