New Mangalore Port Expands Operations with Incoming Crude Oil Tankers

New Mangalore Port recently received two large crude oil tankers, 'Sunrise Way' and 'Nagarjuna', supplying oil to Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited. The vessels have arrived from Mandji, Africa, and Primorsk, Russia, with a third tanker, 'Deshbhakt', expected soon from Rajasthan.

Two large crude oil tankers, 'Sunrise Way' and 'Nagarjuna', have recently docked at the New Mangalore Port. These ships add to the ongoing crude oil supply operations for the Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited (MRPL).

The 'Sunrise Way' arrived on Monday, carrying 88,152 metric tonnes of crude oil from Mandji, Africa. Unloading operations are currently underway at MRPL's single buoy mooring facility.

Another tanker, 'Nagarjuna', arriving from Primorsk, Russia, with 97,354 metric tonnes of crude oil, has also reached its destination. Unloading for 'Nagarjuna' is scheduled to commence on April 1. Additionally, a third tanker, 'Deshbhakt', is anticipated to arrive on April 3 from Rajasthan, further augmenting the crude supply.
