As tensions in the Gulf impact energy supplies via the Strait of Hormuz, Goa continues to maintain a stable domestic LPG supply despite facing challenges with commercial gas cylinders.
An official from the Civil Supplies Department stated that while domestic LPG remains unaffected, the shortage of commercial LPG is being addressed through increased quotas for establishments applying for Piped Natural Gas (PNG) connections.
The state government's new regulations require commercial users to register with LPG dealers, eliminating third-party sourcing issues and ensuring a more structured distribution process.
