A fire erupted in a building in the Gotri area of Vadodara, Gujarat, on Wednesday, prompting firefighting teams to quickly mobilize after receiving the alert, officials reported. Crews are actively engaged in extinguishing the flames as the operation continues.
Local authorities have yet to determine the cause of the fire or assess the full extent of the damage incurred. This incident follows a significant fire that broke out on April 6 at a scrap warehouse situated on Halol-Pavagadh Road in Gujarat.
In a statement to ANI, a fire officer explained, "The fire occurred in a scrap godown. We are currently working to put out the blaze, with 12 fire tenders deployed on-site. The blaze has resulted in thick smoke enveloping the surrounding areas."
