In a significant stride towards women's empowerment, Rajasthan's Minister of State for Women and Child Development, Manju Baghmar, alongside former BJP MLA Dr. Alka Singh Gurjar, initiated the 'Nari Shakti-Viksit Bharat Run' in Jaipur. This event underscores an ambitious effort for inclusive growth by supporting the recently introduced women's reservation Bill in Parliament.

Gurjar highlighted the bill's potential in enhancing female participation in decision-making spheres, from panchayat to Parliament. She emphasized its importance, noting widespread support from society and gratitude directed towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi for advancing this initiative, which promises transformative impacts in sectors like education, health, and nutrition.

Aligning with 'Azadi Ka Amrit Kaal,' Baghmar detailed the Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam Bill's provision of a 33% reservation for women in legislative seats, marking a historic triumph on the path to gender equity. The bill predicates implementing this reservation before the 2029 general elections with strategic amendments to existing laws.
