Ukrainian drones have launched a significant attack on an oil-pumping facility in Russia's Samara region, a Ukrainian security official confirmed on Tuesday.

The attack targeted a vital dispatch center in Prosvet village, part of the Druzhba oil pipeline network. The assault caused a blaze, damaging five massive crude oil tanks, each holding 20,000 cubic meters.

This incident occurs as Hungary and Slovakia await restored pipeline oil flows, halted since a Russian attack in January. Ukrainian President Zelenskiy promises pipeline repairs by April's end, amidst claims of further drone threats in the area.
