Himachal's CM Launches Rs 34.31 Crore Projects to Boost Agriculture and Education

Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has rolled out development projects valued at Rs 34.31 crore to bolster agricultural education and promote natural farming in the state. The CM inaugurated a hostel for 107 students at the College of Horticulture and Forestry, Neri, spending Rs 3.63 crore on the venture.
Additionally, Sukhu unveiled the Krishi Vigyan Kendra's administrative building in Tabo, costing Rs 1.48 crore. Foundation stones for working women's hostels in Hamirpur were also laid, budgeted at Rs 8.57 crore, Rs 8.68 crore, and Rs 11.95 crore, respectively, targeting educational infrastructure enhancement at Dr. Y.S. Parmar University.
The CM emphasized the long-term vision for natural farming, citing the success of over two lakh farmers engaging in such practices. With agriculture at the forefront of the state's economy, Himachal offers the highest Minimum Support Price nationally, ensuring farmers receive fair compensation. These initiatives align with the government's commitment to uplift rural frameworks.
