Swift Justice: Delhi Police Crack Major Rs 50 Lakh Heist
Delhi Police arrested seven suspects connected with a robbery involving over Rs 50 lakh near Azad Market underpass. The swift operation resulted in the recovery of the stolen money and mobile phones. In a separate case, a woman posing as domestic help was arrested for a series of thefts.

In a remarkable feat of police work, Delhi Police have successfully apprehended seven individuals implicated in a high-stakes robbery where bags containing over Rs 50 lakh were stolen from two people near the Azad Market underpass, officials announced.
On March 31, the daring robbery took place when four assailants on motorcycles intercepted the victims transporting cash from Kirti Nagar. According to North Delhi DCP Raja Banthia, the police acted swiftly, registering a case and initiating a comprehensive investigation that resulted in the arrest of all suspects, including the mastermind tracked down in Goa, and another in Dausa.
The robbery involved Rs 50.37 lakh, nearly all of which has been recovered, along with luxury mobile phones bought using the stolen funds. Meanwhile, in an unrelated case, a 45-year-old woman known as Sona, accused of multiple thefts under the guise of domestic service, was apprehended. Police investigations revealed she strategically stole valuables after gaining employment in homes.
