The Argentine Economy Ministry has set a 25% extraordinary discount for subsidized gas users during May in a bid to combat rising global fuel prices.
This initiative will complement existing subsidies, providing natural gas and propane network users in the subsidy program with a total 75% discount for the month.
The discount targets consumers within the SEF energy subsidies regime, with the aim to alleviate the financial burden on vulnerable consumers amid international fuel price increases. This measure was published in the official gazette and is now effective.
