Announced through a social media post on 'X', PM Modi emphasized that the projects would notably bolster connectivity, optimize operational efficiencies, and enhance tourist access nationwide.

The CCEA, chaired by Modi, sanctioned three major railway initiatives with a collective budget of Rs. 23,437 crore. These include additional rail lines between Nagda and Mathura, Guntakal and Wadi, and Burhwal and Sitapur, spanning a cumulative length of 901 kilometers across 19 districts in states like Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh.
