The Rajasthan Police Special Operations Group (SOG) is probing allegations of malpractice in the NEET examination. Vishal Bansal, the Additional Director General of SOG, revealed that a 'guess paper' with 410 questions is under scrutiny. Reports suggest that approximately 120 questions were identical to those in the official exam's Chemistry section.
Bansal explained that this guess paper might have circulated among students up to a month before the exam. The investigation aims to uncover any cheating or criminal activities linked to the paper. As of now, no arrests have been made, but efforts to ascertain the extent of malpractice continue.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) responded to these allegations, stating that the exam was conducted under stringent security, using GPS-tracked transport, AI-assisted CCTV, and biometric verification. Inputs received on May 7 about potential malpractice have been forwarded for independent verification by central agencies, with ongoing investigations set to establish the facts.
