Chandrababu Naidu Supports PM Modi's Call for Economic Self-Reliance Amid Global Challenges

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has expressed strong support for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's national mission that aims to bolster India's foreign exchange reserves. Speaking at the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Annual Business Summit in Delhi, Naidu highlighted the need for self-reliance and resource conservation amidst the current geopolitical tensions, as noted by the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister’s Office.
Naidu reiterated Modi's call for various strategic measures to counter emerging global challenges. These measures include postponing gold purchases, promoting energy conservation, using public transport, adapting to work-from-home, reducing fertiliser use, and moving towards natural farming. Naidu emphasized the importance of these measures, considering the global energy crisis and the effects felt even by nations not directly involved in conflicts.
Addressing business leaders, Naidu urged them to adopt these reforms as a national mission, indicating confidence that India could transform current challenges into growth opportunities. Modi's recent address in Secunderabad also urged citizens to reduce fuel consumption and adopt Swadeshi products to bolster environmental efforts and reduce import dependence.
