In a decisive move against administrative inefficiencies, Home Minister and District In-charge Minister G Parameshwara has ordered the immediate distribution of entitlements to all beneficiaries present at the upcoming Sadhana Sambhavesh convention on May 20. The directive aims to end the long-standing practice of symbolic distributions and ensure that every attendee leaves with their allotted benefits without delay.
During a high-level preliminary meeting held at the District Collector's Office, Parameshwara highlighted past issues where beneficiaries experienced delays in receiving land titles and any benefits. He stressed that such practices would not be tolerated, particularly in the Tumkur district, and insisted on direct benefit transfers with the Chief Minister in attendance. Departmental officials have been instructed to assign specific officers the responsibility of distributing land titles and benefits directly to beneficiaries at their seating locations.
The convention is expected to draw over 2 lakh beneficiaries from the district's 10 taluks, necessitating meticulous planning. Parameshwara has insisted on ensuring safe and timely transportation for attendees, with precise instructions for buses to operate efficiently. Facility provisions, such as buttermilk and drinking water, are required to be readily available, and the Tumkur City Corporation has been tasked with maintaining cleanliness and infrastructure for the event. All preparations aim to reflect the district's stellar reputation for hosting significant events, with a focus on hospitality and logistical excellence.
