The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has taken significant steps to bolster its political influence in Gujarat ahead of the 2027 assembly elections by appointing three additional 'sah prabharis'. This strategic move will involve Vinay Mishra, Dinesh Mohania, and Gaurav Sharma, aiming to strengthen AAP's organizational framework within the state.

In a related development, AAP convenor Arvind Kejriwal has openly challenged Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 'seven appeals' to the citizens. Speaking to the media on Tuesday, Kejriwal noted that India has endured numerous challenges since gaining independence, including wars and economic downturns, without any government making such extensive appeals to the populace.

Kejriwal stated, 'Since 1950, our nation has weathered crises like wars with Pakistan and China, and economic hardships. While leaders like Lal Bahadur Shastri and Indira Gandhi have made specific appeals before, such comprehensive 'seven appeals' are unprecedented. The nation is in shock.' He urged the Prime Minister to clarify the current economic situation and what lies ahead, cautioning against the spread of unverified information that could undermine economic confidence.
