Union Minister Jitendra Singh officially inaugurated a 200 MW solar module manufacturing line of Central Electronics Ltd (CEL) located in Sahibabad, Uttar Pradesh. This development signifies a noteworthy advancement in India's commitment to clean energy initiatives.

Central Electronics Ltd has played a crucial role in India's renewable sector since its foundation in 1974, manufacturing the nation's first solar cell and solar plant in the late 1970s. Despite previous recognition challenges, CEL is currently gaining national attention, branching into advanced sectors to align with India's evolving technological landscape.
