Fuel dispensing continues without restrictions across state: UP govt
Public sector oil marketing companies in Uttar Pradesh continue to maintain uninterrupted fuel supplies, reassuring citizens that fuel is available without restrictions.
Public sector oil marketing companies lndianoil, BPCL, and HPCL continue to maintain uninterrupted supplies of petrol, diesel and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) across UP, according to an official statement issued here on Tuesday.
The oil industry remains fully committed to ensure seamless availability of fuels through its extensive supply network comprising terminals, depots, LPG bottling plants and retail outlets, it said.
Fuel dispensing operations are continuing smoothly across all outlets and supplies are being maintained without any restrictions, in line with prescribed safety and operational norms, it said.
The statement comes after videos suggesting a fuel crisis in the state went viral.
''Citizens are requested to continue with normal purchasing behaviour and avoid unnecessary panic buying. The public is also advised to rely only on official communications issued by oil marketing companies for authentic and verified information related to fuel availability,'' the statement signed by State Level Coordinator -- Oil lndustry, UP, Sanjay Bhandari, added.
