JK Lakshmi Cement Ltd on Wednesday reported a 28.67 per cent decline in its consolidated net profit to Rs 125.06 crore for the March quarter of 2025-26 compared to the same period of the previous fiscal.

The company had posted a net profit of Rs 175.35 crore in the January-March period a year ago, according to a regulatory filing from JK Lakshmi Cement Ltd (JKLC), a flagship company of JK Organisation.

Its revenue from operations was flat at Rs 1,901.53 crore in the March quarter. It was at Rs 1,897.62 crore in the year-ago period.

Total expenses of JKLC were at Rs 1,752.32 crore, up 5 per cent in the March quarter of FY26. Its sales volume was up 8.3 per cent to 3.89 million tonnes in the fourth quarter of FY'26.

JKLC's total income, which includes other income, was up 1.4 per cent to Rs 1,939.77 crore.

For the entire FY26, JKLC's net profit was up 49.52 per cent to Rs 412.61 crore. It was at Rs 275.95 crore in the year-ago period.

Its total consolidated income was up 10.2 per cent to Rs 6,874.88 crore for the financial year ended on March 31, 2026.

Over the outlook, the company said: ''Geopolitical headwinds in West Asia, rupee depreciation, and supply chain disruptions are expected to moderate Government capex, pulling cement demand growth down marginally to 6-7% in FY2026–27.''.

Shares of JK Lakshmi Cement Ltd on Wednesday settled at Rs 636 per scrip on BSE, down 1.42 per cent from the previous close.
