In a move that has ramped up political fervor in Karnataka, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah held high-profile meetings in New Delhi on Tuesday, sparking speculation about an imminent leadership change. Siddaramaiah's meetings with Congress general secretaries KC Venugopal and Randeep Surjewala at the party's Indira Bhavan headquarters came just ahead of a crucial discussion with the high command.

The meetings included a breakfast gathering with various state ministers at Karnataka Bhavan, amidst an influx of 17 MLAs to the national capital. As Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivkumar also arrived at Indira Bhavan, anticipation around potential shifts in leadership heightened.

Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, alongside prominent leaders such as Rahul Gandhi, Sachin Pilot, and others convened to deliberate on the state's political course. While both Kharge and CM Siddaramaiah have been reticent about addressing the potential leadership shift, insiders hint at clarity emerging soon, particularly regarding the Chief Ministerial position.
