Bharat Taxi is driving a new era in mobility and ownership across Gujarat, aligned with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 'Sahkar se Samriddhi' vision. As the world's largest driver-owned mobility cooperative, launched by Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah, the initiative sees drivers becoming platform owners, bringing dignity and global recognition through an innovative cooperative framework.

Jayen Mehta, Chairman of Bharat Taxi and MD of Amul, emphasizes a major shift in the sector. The driver-owned model allows 100% of ride earnings to go back to drivers, elevating their financial stability and setting a global standard for cooperative-led growth. This paradigm shift is increasing drivers' income by 25% to 30% and restoring dignity to families moving away from traditional aggregator models.

Bharat Taxi is also making headway with passengers by adopting a stable pricing model, reducing fares by approximately 15% compared to competitors. With zero commission fees and direct payments, drivers feel a sense of ownership. The platform's nationwide expansion, supported by a 'Below the Line' strategy and a direct SOS integration with Gujarat Police, ensures safety and convenience, further solidifying Bharat Taxi as an essential part of daily and pilgrimage commutes.
