In a robust push to modernize Delhi's transport network, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta announced a collaboration with the central government to execute extensive road and connectivity projects. The initiatives are designed to alleviate traffic congestion and upgrade the capital's infrastructure, ensuring it is equipped to meet future demands.

Following discussions with Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, the Chief Minister revealed plans for numerous infrastructural developments, including expressways, tunnels, and elevated corridors. These projects are expected to significantly improve traffic flow and regional connectivity, ensuring a congestion-free commute across Delhi and the NCR.

Key developments include the Urban Extension Road-2 (UER-II) Extension project linking Delhi to Dehradun and the ambitious Kalindi Kunj Interchange. Estimated to cost billions, these projects aim to provide streamlined, signal-free transportation across the region, reducing congestion and enhancing access for both residents and freight traffic.
