Karnataka Chief Minister DK Shivakumar has revealed a strategic agenda aimed at propelling the state towards comprehensive development. The Chief Minister focused on spurring employment, mandating recruitment plans to fill 56,000 vacant government positions, and prioritizing Kannadigas in private sector opportunities. Bengaluru, being an IT hub, receives significant attention with infrastructure grants aimed at road improvements and regulatory relaxations for housing.
Shivakumar also addressed efforts to curb rural-to-urban migration by strengthening the rural economy, alongside forming task forces to enhance law and order. Commitments also extend to the education sector, aiming to reduce a 50,000-teacher deficit and harness CSR funds effectively.
