In a strategic move to highlight governmental shortcomings, the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) has initiated a state-wide 'Two Years of Backstabbing' campaign, a senior party leader announced. The campaign, led by YSRCP National Spokesperson Karthik Yellapragada, aims to expose the TDP-led coalition government's failure to deliver on pre-election promises.
As part of the initiative, YSRCP activists are distributing and burning copies of TDP's election manifesto and guarantee bonds, showcasing the unmet commitments signed by Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan. This symbolic act underscores what YSRCP describes as a betrayal of public trust by the current government, which has allegedly failed critical societal segments like farmers, women, and youth.
To further this agenda, YSRCP will hold town hall meetings on June 8 and 9 across various constituencies, inviting public discourse on the TDP's governance over the past two years. The campaign, which runs until June 12, is designed to underline the disparity between promised and actual government actions, seeking justice for Andhra Pradesh's citizens.
