In a symbolic demonstration of his commitment to environmental protection, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu will be spotted cycling through the streets of Visakhapatnam on Friday. His bicycle ride aims to mark World Environment Day, reinforcing the significance of sustainable living practices.
According to an official release, Chief Minister Naidu will arrive at the National Workshop on Seafood Exports held at Novotel hotel by bicycle, a gesture intended to showcase eco-friendly transport and the importance of reducing carbon emissions. He is encouraging citizens, leaders, and officials to join this green initiative by choosing bicycles or e-bicycles during the celebrations.
Naidu has called upon the residents of Andhra Pradesh to participate in the initiative by planting at least one sapling each, contributing to the state's green cover. He shared a heartfelt message emphasizing the crucial role of conserving natural resources and tackling environmental issues like pollution and climate change. World Environment Day, celebrated annually on June 5, is a reminder of our shared responsibility to safeguard nature's future.
