In a harrowing incident, at least 22 passengers sustained injuries when a private travel bus overturned on a railway bridge in Khammam district, Telangana, late Sunday night, as reported by the local police. The incident occurred on the Kothalankapalli railway bridge under the jurisdiction of the Penballi Police Station. The bus, carrying 36 passengers, lost control and flipped, prompting immediate action from emergency response teams.

Khammam Police confirmed that between 22 to 23 passengers were injured in the mishap. Emergency teams, along with local police, swiftly arrived at the scene, evacuated the injured, and transported them to a nearby hospital for medical attention.
