This case of high-grade marijuana smuggling was confirmed by Delhi Customs via social media, indicating it was concealed in vacuum-sealed packets.

The X-ray inspection of the passenger's baggage raised suspicions, prompting a thorough check, which led to the discovery of the illegal substance. Authorities have launched a detailed investigation into the smuggling incident, marking yet another instance of stringent airport security thwarting drug trafficking attempts.

In another development, a separate raid by the Pune City Police resulted in the detention of 156 individuals at an unauthorized rave party in Tulapur. Conducted on June 7, the operation seized a range of illegal items including ganja, banned hookah flavors, and excess liquor, bringing the total seizure estimate to Rs 85 lakh. With investigations pending, organizers of the party face potential legal repercussions.
