The Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) has taken a step forward in promoting tourism with the release of a new souvenir by its Budget Tourism Cell. Kannur's Budget Tourism Cell Unit Coordinator Rajeesh and representatives from the Kannur Budget Tourism Travellers' Collective, including Jayaprakash and Janeesh, organized the event, which coincided with a trip to the scenic Palakkayam Thattu. Conductor Rajesh guided the journey, reflecting KSRTC’s commitment to enhancing travel experiences.
Earlier, on May 24, a KSRTC Minnal bus en route from Kanyakumari to Palakkad narrowly avoided a major accident in Ernakulam's Palarivattom. The bus lost control around 4 AM and skidded off into a roadside drain. Thankfully, no passengers were seriously injured, authorities confirmed, with an ongoing investigation into the incident.
