The five-day Shimla Summer Festival concluded successfully amid vibrant cultural displays at the historic Ridge Maidan, attracting both tourists and locals. This year's event, a key cultural attraction in Himachal Pradesh, spotlighted the region's traditions, folk arts, local cuisine, and handicrafts, enhanced by Shimla's picturesque scenery and pleasant weather.

Despite the festival's appeal, some attendees expressed concerns about overcrowding. Deepak Chauhan, a tourist from Delhi, enjoyed the event but suggested scheduling it in July, outside the peak tourist season, to alleviate traffic congestion.

Tourists praised Shimla's climate, a relief from India's oppressive summer heat. Sanjeev Kumar Lohani, visiting from Bihar, highlighted the added charm of arriving via the iconic Kalka-Shimla toy train. Jasvinder Singh from Punjab noted the festival's ability to foster joy and camaraderie among attendees. As the festival ended, Shimla remained a popular summer destination for its cultural allure and natural beauty.
