Uttarakhand CM Unveils Science Museum, Sets New Development Milestones
Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami inaugurated a modern science museum and announced new development initiatives in Pauri Garhwal. On a significant visit to Pauri Garhwal, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami inaugurated a state-of-the-art District Science Museum on Srinagar Road and kicked off the Kandoliya Mahotsav at Ramlila Ground.
The Chief Minister unveiled 19 pivotal projects valued at ₹110.55 crore, marking a robust stride towards regional development. Five projects have already been completed, while the foundation stones for 14 others were laid. He stressed that the new science museum is a pivotal hub for fostering scientific curiosity among youth, equipped with interactive models and exhibits.
The museum is more than just an exhibit center; it functions as a modern science education nucleus, aimed at encouraging experimental learning over theoretical frameworks. Chief Minister Dhami expressed optimism that this initiative would spark an ecological shift towards science and innovation within the community.
Additionally, Dhami announced plans to elevate the Kandoliya Mahotsav to a state-sponsored festival, underscoring its role in highlighting Uttarakhand's cultural richness. He conveyed how the state continually balances heritage and progress, fueled by several infrastructural projects and socially pertinent laws. Development initiatives are underway, ranging from the expansion of the Char Dham Yatra to diverse self-employment and cultural preservation schemes, reinforcing Uttarakhand's steadily evolving landscape.
