Kenyan NGO blames police of 'violently' dispersing march for Sudan

Kenya Human Rights Commission's protests voicing concerns about violence in Sudan were allegedly cut short by Kenyan police. The NGO also claims that police used tear gas and resorted to using violence to disperse protesters that were marching to Parliament to deliver a petition.

Expressing the ordeal on Twitter, the NGO claimed that it's Deputy Executive Director has also been arrested by the police while a local media platform also claimed that the protesters had necessary permissions to protest.
