US President Donald Trump is considering to remove Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross, according to media reports. The news has come after the recent defeat of Trump where the Supreme Court decided to drop the citizenship question from the census which Trump was very keen to add. Trump was not very happy with Ross' leadership of the Census Bureau which comes under the Commerce Department.

Ross is one of the original members of Trump's cabinet and the relationship between the two goes back to the 1990s. For more than 25 years, the two socialized across marriages and states, with both owning nearby residences in Manhattan and Palm Beach. Ross, a registered democrat, endorsed Trump in June 2016 by saying, "We need a more radical, new approach to government."
