ISIS says it killed or injured 40 Nigerian soldiers in Borno - report

The terrorist group ISIS has said it killed or injured 40 Nigerian soldiers in the northeastern Borno state of Nigeria on Tuesday, according to the English edition of the newspaper Asharq Al-Awsat.

In another attack on Monday in the same state, one soldier was killed and five were injured while 10 Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) fighters were also killed. ISWAP launched a surprise attack on the Multinational Joint Task Force and national troops on Monday.
